Culture and events

St. Pankratius is the oldest church in the municipality of Vaterstetten and was first mentioned in 1186. The nave was built from tuff stone blocks in the late Romanesque style. This means that the long history of the church in the municipality and a specifically named architectural style can be considered together in a single building.

St. Pankratius can be visited during the day; the church interior can be closed off with a grille. Check before your visit whether access is currently possible.

For over 40 years, the town hall concerts have enriched the cultural life of the municipality of Vaterstetten; their programmes change. The summer solstice bonfire is a traditional event held annually in June and organised by the Vaterstetten fire brigade. If you would like a concert or the bonfire to determine the dates of your stay, check the dates for the programme you want or the relevant edition of the event.

Leisure activities and things to do
