The Feast of San Leone and the Ciancialone

Lu Cencialon takes place during the Feast of San Leone, Silvi’s patron saint festival; the feast day is the last Sunday in May. The Chiesa del Santissimo Salvatore is the oldest church in the town and a Romanesque building dating from the 11th century. The time may vary depending on conditions. The routes differ in several respects: for Lu coche, the lack of signs and the direction toward the chapel are important; for the Sentiero, it is the incline, Silvi Marina as the destination and the approximate duration.
