Kobylezka Poljana: Springs, Ski Slopes and Routes
Accommodation in Kobylezka Poljana
When choosing a destination for your stay, Kobylezka Poljana offers several points of interest: mineral springs and ski slopes are located in the village, routes lead from there through named areas to mountains, and the Arnika Nature Reserve is nearby. When planning your trip, you can distinguish between local features, route itineraries and a separate protected area. The routes differ in length, duration, modes of transport and destinations.
Springs and ski slopes
Kobylezka Poljana has mineral springs. The ski slopes are served by chairlifts, drag lifts and platter lifts. The springs and slopes appeal to different interests in the village: the springs offer a connection with nature, while the slopes are a winter sports attraction. If the ski slopes are a deciding factor for your trip, check in advance whether they are currently operating.
Routes with stated durations
Two routes can be compared by length and stated duration. The Bozhenyi–Popitnyk walking route is 7.7 kilometres long and is listed as taking six hours. Burkut–Perenyz is six kilometres long, with a stated duration of nine hours. Walking, motorcycling and driving are listed as modes of transport for this route. This means that the shorter of the two routes has the longer stated duration. When planning, it is therefore worth considering length, duration and modes of transport together, rather than using distance alone as a measure. Bozhenyi–Turchyn is four kilometres long and passes through the areas of Bozhenyi, Pohar and Turchyn. Check the route’s current accessibility and condition before setting out.
Routes through the mountains and to the lake
One route begins in Kobylezka Poljana and passes through the Brynzyn area to the mountains of Pleshka and Opresha (1,408.8 m). Via the Bychkiv mountain pasture, it continues to the mountains of Baltyn and Kurpets and the peaks of Pleska Ungurska (1,391 m) and Ungaryaska (1,707 m). A second route also begins in the village and leads via the Yalynka mountain pasture to the mountains of Hadob (1,142 m) and Menchul (1,998 m). It continues through the Perenyz area to Munchel-Malyi (1,379 m) and Perensky-Malyi (1,282 m), then through Polonyna Vedenyaska to Mount Dohyaska (1,764 m) and Lake Heryshaska (Dohyaska). The first route passes over a mountain pasture to several mountains and peaks; the second reaches a lake as well as mountains. This makes it possible to distinguish between the two itineraries by their specific landscape destinations.
