Accommodation in Voll

Farm Products in Voll
Bærå, a farm in Voll, grows organic strawberries and raspberries. Hole gardsutsalg has a different focus: the farm shop sells its own beef and milk through a milk vending machine. It also stocks locally made yoghurt and cheese and offers ice cream made from fresh farm milk. This puts berry growing alongside a selection of meat, dairy products and ice cream.
Berry availability may vary by season, and ice cream is also a seasonal offering. The selection at Hole gardsutsalg may change depending on the season; the shop’s operating hours may also change. If you are planning a specific visit, check the current opening hours and offerings in advance.

History and Culture in Klepp
The old Jæren house at Haugabakka is Klepp’s local history museum. It was built in 1852/1853 as a schoolroom and teacher’s residence and was the first schoolhouse in Klepp. Haugabakka consists of the old schoolhouse, which houses a local history collection, and Folgehuset, which is used, among other things, for art exhibitions, meetings and cultural evenings. At Haugabakka, you can also see tools and other objects from farming society more than a hundred years ago.
During the Migration Period, Krosshaug was one of the largest and richest burial grounds in Jæren. A stone cross was erected there around the year 1000. The old church at Orre dates from the mid-13th century. This medieval building, made of brick and wood, is the oldest building in the area. The church is closed, but can be opened for visits by appointment.
