If you are looking for a hotel in Krupá, you can tailor your choice to the themes that interest you during your stay.
Cultural history at the Church of Saint Gothard
The church stands south of Krupá on the site of the former village square. Its present form reflects a Baroque renovation, while Gothic masonry has also been preserved. The medieval settlement of Kostelec, which was destroyed in 1318, lay around it. Finds of medieval pottery in the surrounding fields provide evidence of the settlement. The church’s surroundings thus bring together architectural history and evidence of earlier settlement.
A note from 2011 describes the church as not open to the public, though it can be viewed from outside. Check current access arrangements before your visit. Krupá was destroyed during the Thirty Years’ War and subsequently rebuilt.

There are also seating areas for visitors and an information board about the history of the former spa. Another historical excursion leads to Džbán Castle, which can be reached from Mutějovice railway station via a green-marked hiking trail.
