Comparing two difficult MTB routes
The MTB route “Meandering along centuries-old olive and shepherd paths” is 27.5 kilometres long and rated difficult. It leads from Klimno towards Dobrinj along old macadam and off-road tracks, with occasional single-track sections. Before returning to Klimno, the route passes through Gornja Hlapa.
The route “Along the Dobring area trails” is also rated difficult, but at 50.5 kilometres it is considerably longer. Its sections run along asphalt, macadam and single tracks. The two routes can therefore be distinguished by their length and the described surfaces; both retain their difficult rating.
Dry-stone walls along the hiking trail
The KRK HIKE 191 – Discovering the Dobrinj area offers a different perspective on the landscape. The hiking trail follows rural roads lined with dry-stone walls. Here, a specific feature of the trail takes centre stage, while the MTB descriptions focus mainly on route length, difficulty and surface. When planning your trip, you can choose between the designated cycling routes and a trail with dry-stone walls along the way.
