The central hiking trailhead, with hiking maps, is located at the Info Point in the village center. Nearby are a large public parking lot at the Haus der Jugend, a public restroom and a drinking fountain. These points of reference can be helpful when planning a day of hiking. The Thermenradweg R 12 also passes through Unterlamm and is another point of reference if cycling is among your travel interests.

Church, Grotto and Themed Trails

The parish church dedicated to St. Henry was built from 1907 to 1910 in the Historicist style. The Lourdes Marian Grotto was created in 2006 on a hillside behind the church. The Path of St. Bernadette begins at the parish church and is a circular trail just under two kilometers long. It provides insight into the 18 messages of Our Lady of Lourdes and depicts the life of Saint Bernadette. The trail thus combines a specific distance with a religious theme.

On the 11th of every month, a Holy Mass with a candlelight procession takes place at 7:00 p.m. at the Lourdes Marian Grotto. In the village of Oberlamm stands the protected black poplar. It is about 300 years old and has a circumference of 9.40 meters. Fishing is permitted in the middle pond at the natural pond complex. At the Lebensart studio of Fritz and Tanja Marko, you can see paintings, sculptures, mobiles and garden objects made from natural materials, as well as ceramics. If you are interested in art and crafted objects, this focus complements the village’s landscape and religious themes.

The restaurant Die Speisemanufaktur welcomes visitors from outside the area seven days a week by prior reservation.
