Suihua: Culture, Winter Recreation and Regional Cuisine

Check whether the curling venue is currently operating before you visit.

Regional cuisine is also part of the visitor experience there. The folk-style “Eight Against Eight” and “Six Against Six” menus include pork dishes, rice cakes, steamed buns and glutinous rice and bean buns, among other offerings. They also feature various grains and small fish, green vegetables, and local liquor to sample. This lets you explore Jinguishanzhuang’s culinary side as well as its winter activities. Park, Tourist Area and Museum

Suihua Martyrs’ Park is located in Suihua People’s Park; it was formerly known as the Suihua Martyrs’ Cemetery. Its former name is a specific point of reference for travelers interested in local history and place names. This makes it a different focus from the seasonal recreational offerings at Jinguishanzhuang.

The Heitu Lüzhiyuan Tourist Area in Beilin District was upgraded from category AA to category AAA in 2025. This adds another tourist point of interest.
