Valldemossa between the Tramuntana, cultural heritage and coast

Valldemossa lies in the Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca, approximately 17 kilometres from Palma and around 400 metres above sea level. The municipality extends through mountainous terrain from the interior of the Serra de Tramuntana to the sea. The main town lies in an elevated valley surrounded by holm oak and pine forests.
