The foothills of the Rokoš Mountains extend into the territory of Diviaky nad Nitricou. Dolomite and limestone cliffs shape the landscape of these foothills above the Rudnianska Valley. Church and Cultural History

The Roman Catholic church in Diviaky nad Nitricou is a Late Romanesque, two-towered church dedicated to All Saints. Three Romanesque windows date from the mid-13th century. The building was partially given a Baroque makeover in the 18th century. Its Late Romanesque character and later Baroque alterations thus stand side by side, giving the church several layers of architectural history.

Since 1994, the Bukovec folklore group has worked to preserve and develop folk customs, songs, and traditions. For more than three decades, it has preserved and presented the traditions of its region. The group performs on these themes in its community as well as at festivals in Slovakia and abroad. The church and the folklore group thus offer different perspectives on regional culture: one through architectural history, the other through the preservation and presentation of traditions.

The archaeological heritage includes the Lusatian culture of the Late Bronze Age, dated to around 1200 BC. The cemetery at Diviaky nad Nitricou is also of regional significance: it is one of the richest archaeological cemeteries in the Horná Nitra region. This archaeological context extends the local history back to a period long before the medieval church.
