Other attractions include St. Andrew’s Church, the Popice Stations of the Cross, and the Hochberk natural monument. When visiting wineries, the specific offerings and their respective conditions both matter.

The Gotberg winery building is an example of modern wine architecture. The winery offers wine tastings on a terrace with a beautiful view. As opening arrangements may change, check the visiting conditions before you go.
Sonberk winery offers a walk through the vineyards with an audio guide. Check availability before your visit. On designated days, private guided tours with commentary and a guided wine tasting are also available by reservation. Whether a reservation is possible may vary. The wine event and winery visits differ in their scheduling: Tour de sklep depends on the specific edition, while a private Sonberk tour is available on designated days and requires a reservation.
Church, Chapel, and Stations of the Cross
The Popice Stations of the Cross comprises 14 marble stations between the Sonberk and Gotberg vineyards. It ends at the Gate of Life. The vineyard path along the Stations of the Cross is freely accessible and runs directly along the Moravian Wine Route.
St. Andrew’s Church is considered Popice’s most important historic monument. Its origins are Romanesque; it was extensively rebuilt from 1696 to 1699, and its interior is Baroque. The Romanesque designation refers to the original building, while the Baroque description refers to the interior’s design. The church is generally accessible during regular services. As the service schedule may change, check the current times before your visit.
The Chapel of St. Rosalia, St. Roch, and St. Sebastian was built from 1716 to 1717. Its construction followed the rebuilding of St. Andrew’s Church, which ended in 1699, making it possible to compare the dates of the two religious building phases.
Hochberk Natural Monument
The protected Hochberk natural monument lies within the cadastral areas of Popice and UherÄŤice u HustopeÄŤĂ. It protects xerothermic dry steppe grasslands and thermophilic Pannonian oak-hornbeam forests. These habitats are home to numerous endangered and specially protected plant species, as well as important invertebrate species. The most important protected plant species include Tatar sea kale (Crambe tataria), white broom (Chamaecytisus albus), and hairy flax (Linum hirsutum subsp. hirsutum). “Xerothermic” describes dry, warm conditions and thus explains a characteristic of the steppe grasslands; the forests are identified as Pannonian oak-hornbeam forests.
