Three different perspectives can help you choose Glenbeulah as a destination: hiking and biking, village parks, and local history. Conditions vary from one location to another. When planning your stay, you can match your intended activities with the relevant park rules and the seasonal camping season.

Local History on Gardner St.

The Glenbeulah Mill, also called the Grist Mill, is located on Gardner St. in Glenbeulah and is listed on the National Register. Historically, it was used as a processing and production facility. The mill is associated with the themes of agriculture, exploration and settlement, and industry.

Hiking and Mountain Biking

The Greenbush Trail System near the Greenbush group campground offers opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. For on-site orientation, the Greenbush Picnic Area/Trailhead is located at N5658 Kettle Moraine Drive in Glenbeulah, between Hwy 67 and County Road T near Greenbush.

In the Northern Unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest, you can walk and hike the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. The trail runs for 31 miles through this forest unit. If you’d like to mountain bike as well as hike, the Greenbush Trail System offers both activities; the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in the Northern Unit is another option for hiking there.
