Paguera: Beaches and Hiking Trails
Accommodation in Paguera
If you are looking for a hotel in Paguera, beaches, promenades and hiking trails can help you decide which activities to include in your trip. The coastal stretches differ in length and scenery; TorĂ Beach also has named facilities. Two routes, meanwhile, differ in distance and destination. At Playa de Palmira, there is also a seasonal summer market and a recommendation to travel by public transport.
Beaches and Promenades in Paguera
TorĂ Beach is a 500 m-long sandy beach between La Romana and a boat landing. It has showers, a lifeguard service, accessible walkways, and sun lounger and parasol rentals. As beach services may change, check the facilities on site before your visit.
La Romana is about 80 m long; behind the beach is a dune system with pine trees and junipers. The beach is also known as Peguera Romana or Platja dels Morts.
Palmira Beach is 600 m long and about 40 m wide. A palm-lined promenade separates the beach from the built-up area. At 600 m, Palmira is longer than Torà , at 500 m; La Romana, at about 80 m, is considerably shorter. Palmira’s width of around 40 m adds a second dimension to the comparison of their lengths. The beaches also differ in scenery: Palmira has its palm-lined promenade, while behind La Romana Beach is a dune system with pine trees and junipers.
Hiking Trails with Different Distances
The PR-MA 1 hiking route connects Paguera and Es CapdellĂ , is 5.8 km long and has a low difficulty level. In July 2026, it was described as recently opened and officially approved.
The easy RS4 route is 18.25 km long, starts and ends in Paguera, and leads to the public GalatzĂł estate in Es CapdellĂ . Compared with the PR-MA 1, it is considerably longer and has a different destination: while the PR-MA 1 connects Paguera and Es CapdellĂ , the RS4 leads to the estate and returns to Paguera. Distance, difficulty rating and destination give you concrete points of reference for choosing between the two routes based on how far you would like to walk.
