Mineral Water in the City Center

A prominent landmark in the center is Fonte Luminosa. It was built in 1947 and is opposite Parque das Águas, which is also in the city center and has six mineral water springs. Together, the two places give a concrete impression of how closely Lambari’s attractions are connected with mineral water.

The mineral water pools at Parque das Águas are used for swimming and water aerobics by tourists, residents, and senior groups, among others. If you have firmly planned one of these activities, check the current visitor conditions before your visit.

Parks and Historical Landmarks

Parque Wenceslau Braz is a wooded park near the city center. Eucalyptus trees, magnolias, and pine trees characterize the grounds; they also include a small lake with water birds. The facilities also include two bicycle rental stations, swimming pools with a water slide, and peteca and volleyball courts. If bicycle rentals, pools, or sports courts are important to your plans, check in advance whether they are currently operating.

The Farol was built in the Parque Wenceslau Braz complex at the beginning of the 20th century. Fonte Luminosa dates from 1947: the two construction dates offer different historical points of reference for exploring Lambari’s attractions.

Cultural attractions in the municipality of Lambari also include Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Saúde and the Teleférico.

At Lago Guanabara

A five-kilometer lakeside promenade at Lago Guanabara is used for walking and cycling. Leisure activities there include pedal boat and motorboat rides, jet skiing, fishing, and boat and carriage rides. If you have a particular activity in mind, check in advance whether it will be available on your chosen date.

Nature in the Serra

Parque Estadual Nova Baden is located within the municipality of Lambari, in the Serra das Águas, which is part of the Serra da Mantiqueira. The park has three developed and signposted trails. If you plan to use one, check the current trail conditions in advance.

One rural attraction in the municipality is the Serra das Águas. It lies at an elevation of about 1,300 meters, offers panoramic views of the region, and is used for hiking and mountain biking. The approximate elevation and the activities mentioned offer a different way to experience nature than the trails in Parque Estadual Nova Baden.

Getting There and Choosing a Hotel

Lambari is known for producing sweets and cheese. This may also play a role in choosing a travel destination, alongside the mineral springs, parks, and natural areas.

To travel toward the municipality of Lambari, after the turnoff at Campanha/Cambuquira, the route follows the BR-267 for 28 kilometers; then turn right onto the BR-460 toward Lambari. Road conditions and routes can change, so check current navigation before setting off.
