Barrio Colinas Verdes offers travelers opportunities for outdoor activities and nature experiences. Complejo La Serranita is a 200-hectare site within the barrio. Its surroundings are shaped by the Tandilia mountain range, which here is called Sierra La Peregrina. The landscape described includes vegetation, bodies of water, and a diverse birdlife.

Trekking, climbs, and adventure

Complejo La Serranita offers trekking and climbs in the Sierra. You can go on your own or with the support of a guide; the times for the ascent and descent are agreed upon. For planning purposes, the main considerations are whether you want to take the tour alone or with a guide, and what times are agreed upon.

The Complejo’s adventure park complements these activities with zip lines, suspension bridges, and climbing walls. This provides different ways to experience heights alongside trekking and climbs. You can consider these features when choosing according to your interests, without equating them with a guided tour of the Sierra.

Footgolf with a history of its own

La Serranita Footgolf covers just under 27 hectares. The course has 18 holes, each with a par value and a prescribed distance. It opened in 2017 as Argentina’s first course designed exclusively for professional footgolf. The size figures refer to different places: the Complejo La Serranita site covers 200 hectares, while the footgolf course covers just under 27 hectares. This helps distinguish between the two areas and their offerings.

Group offerings and events

The student tourism offering at Complejo La Serranita combines accommodation, recreation, and adventure. It includes both covered accommodation and areas for outdoor camping. These details refer to the student tourism offering; they are separate information from the activities and landscape of the site. The hall at the Complejo can accommodate up to 100 people for events. If you are planning a group trip or an event, the target group and the hall’s capacity are different considerations.
