The Casa do Poeta Guerra Junqueiro is located in the building where the poet was born and is dedicated to his life and work. The Museu Regional Casa Junqueiro is in the historic centre, in the former manor house of José António Junqueiro. Its six rooms illustrate the way of life of a wealthy family in the second half of the 19th century and the first years of the 20th century. The houses have different focuses: one on the life and work of a poet, the other on a family’s way of life during a particular historical period.

Douro Landscapes and Trails

Praia fluvial da Congida is located in the Douro Internacional Natural Park, on the large reservoir formed by the Saucelle Dam, near the border with Spain.
