Dąbki is a Baltic Sea resort with a wide sandy beach, numerous hiking and cycling routes, as well as climbing and water sports. To get your bearings, it is helpful to distinguish between the resort itself and its surrounding area: not all recreational activities are in the same place.

Beach and Lake Bukowo

The wide sandy beach is in Dąbki. In the surrounding area, Lake Bukowo borders the resort to the northwest; it covers about 1,700 hectares and lies entirely within the municipality of Darłowo. The lake was once a sea bay, separated from the Baltic Sea by the Bukowo Spit. Water sports and fishing are available on the lake. Its landscape history and on-water activities give the lake a distinct role in trip planning alongside the beach.

Hiking trails and cycling route

Dąbki has numerous hiking and cycling routes. One specific route is the EuroVelo 10 long-distance cycling route, formerly R10: it passes through Dąbki and continues from there towards Darłówko, Wicie and Jarosławiec. This means that a general choice of hiking and cycling routes sits alongside a specifically named long-distance cycling route. The directions to the places listed show how EuroVelo 10 passes through Dąbki and which way it goes from there.

Climbing and water sports

Linolandia Dąbki, a high ropes and climbing park, is located by Lake Bukowo. Its courses have varying levels of difficulty and are designed for children and adults.

The Centrum Sportów Wodnych in Dąbki offers motorboats and an inflatable boat that can be operated without a motorboat licence. Kayaks are available as one- and two-person models made of RAM-X polyethylene and glass-fibre-reinforced polyester laminate. The range also includes inflatable and rigid SUP boards. In addition, there are pedal boats of the “Garbus” and “Alfa Romeo” types, each accommodating up to four adults. For groups, the distinction between the one- and two-person kayaks and the pedal boats for up to four adults is specific; the other options differ by boat type or board construction.

The MILKA excursion boat departs daily from June to the end of August from the landing stage of the Centrum Sportów Wodnych in Dąbki. Check the timetable before planning a trip, as the service is seasonal.

Find a hotel in Dąbki

When looking for a hotel in Dąbki, you can first decide which interests you want to shape your stay: the beach, trails, climbing or water sports each point to a different focus for planning your days. Keep the locations of the activities in mind: the beach and Centrum Sportów Wodnych are in Dąbki, while Linolandia is by Lake Bukowo in the surrounding area; water sports and fishing also take place on the lake. This lets you factor the resort and the activities by the lake separately into your trip planning.
