Rogoźnik: Limestone, Trawne and Horse Riding

The Skałka Rogoźnicka Nature Reserve lies in the southeastern part of Rogoźnik. It protects a limestone outcrop with a rich, well-preserved Upper Jurassic fauna of Alpine type. The Upper Jurassic designation places the fauna in time; “of Alpine type” describes its characteristic classification. A walking trail along the Trawne stream leads from the village of Rogoźnik to the nature reserve. Near the reserve, Trawne has eroded a small valley lined with white limestone rubble. The trail and the valley describe two different aspects of the area: the route from the village on the one hand, and a distinct landform in the vicinity of the reserve on the other. Events and horse riding

The Rogoźnickie Dni Sportu i Rozrywki (Rogoźnik Sports and Entertainment Days) take place regularly. The 2025 and 2026 editions were the eleventh and twelfth, respectively; both included harvest festivals. The exact dates vary, so there is no set annual date. The Stadnina Koni Dworna stud farm in Rogoźnik offers riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders. On August 16, 2026, it also hosted the 18th Municipal Equestrian Sports Competition in memory of ks. prof. Józef Tischner.
