Biskupice is a destination on several cycling routes, including the R-2 connecting route and the Piastowski Trakt Rowerowy. The routes differ considerably in length and pass through areas with different landscape and cultural features. For orientation, it is therefore useful to consider both the total route lengths and the sections within the municipality, as well as the notable points along the routes.

Cycling routes and distances

The Piastowski Trakt Rowerowy ends in Biskupice and follows the EuroVelo 2 and 9 routes. Its total length is 104 kilometers, of which 19.5 kilometers of the Piastowski Trakt run through the municipality. These two figures refer to different scales: 104 kilometers is the length of the entire route, while 19.5 kilometers is the section within the municipality. The Piastowski Trakt passes through almost the entire area of Promno Landscape Park. At 22 kilometers, the R-2 is shorter and runs from Tuczno to Biskupice, where it ends. The shorter connection between Tuczno and Biskupice thus contrasts with a considerably longer route that passes through the park. Before setting out, check the current signs and trail surface conditions.

Points of interest along the R-2

The R-2 passes Lake Kowalskie. An ethnographic site belonging to the Museum of the First Piasts is also located along the route; check whether it is open to visitors before setting out. In Kowalskie, the route also passes a manor house with a historic park. If you are considering visiting the grounds, check access to private property in advance.

Promno Landscape Park

Promno Landscape Park extends between Biskupice, Pobiedziska, Czachurki, Jezierce, Wagowo, and Sanniki. Most of the park overlaps with the Ostoja koło Promna Natura 2000 site, designated under the Habitats Directive. The park has three marked hiking trails—blue, green, and yellow—as well as several cycling routes, including EuroVelo 2 and 9. The colors distinguish the hiking trails, while the cycling routes form a separate network. As route networks can change, check the current park map before setting out. The park thus provides a regional context that extends beyond Biskupice.

Churches in and around Biskupice

Uzarzewo is near Biskupice. There, in the Cybina Valley, a half-timbered church dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel stands on a low hill. It is on the Wooden Churches Trail around Puszcza Zielonka. The combination of half-timbered architecture, the valley setting, and the themed trail gives this church a distinctive architectural and landscape character. For travelers interested in religious architecture, the half-timbered church adds a clearly defined cultural attraction to the cycling and landscape experience. In Biskupice itself is the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, at ul. Dworcowa 34. These provide two distinct points of cultural interest: the themed trail around Puszcza Zielonka in Uzarzewo and the address ul. Dworcowa 34 in Biskupice.
