Commezzadura is one of the three municipalities in Val di Sole that are part of Adamello Brenta Nature Park. There are different things to focus on when planning your trip: the bike park and pump track, routes through small hamlets, and winter activities. If you are looking for a hotel in Commezzadura, you can start by considering which activities you want your trip to revolve around. Routes and activities vary in type and conditions—from a visit to a bike park to a walk or cross-country skiing.

Bike park, pump track and bicycle transport

The Val di Sole Bike Park in Commezzadura has four trails of varying difficulty. All are served by the 8-person Daolasa–Val Mastellina gondola. The Centro Bike Val di Sole mountain bike school organizes courses, tours and lessons for all ages and experience levels, including e-bike tours. When planning, you can distinguish these activities from the independent routes and courses.

The Commezzadura Pump Track is located right beside the cycling and walking path in the Parco Fluviale. Its closed circuit features rollers, banked turns and natural obstacles. A Bike Train also runs on the Mostizzolo–Mezzana route and is specially equipped to transport bicycles. These activities therefore cover different aspects of a cycling trip: trails of varying difficulty, lessons and tours, a pump track, and a route with bicycle transport.

Walks and routes through the hamlets

For a walk described as easy, consider “Piano – Deggiano.” The route passes through small hamlets in the municipality, by sunny meadows and viewpoints with sweeping panoramas. “Il mondo segreto di Aulasa” is a family-friendly themed loop through the small villages of Commezzadura. Those interested in local history and traditions can also discover them on the nature walk “I Laresi de la Tegia”: it leads to centuries-old larch trees and also explores the history and traditions of local farmers. The seasonal schedule for this walk may change, so check the available dates in advance.

Two loop and trail descriptions refer to Daolasa as a landmark in different ways. Trail La Preda N° 710 can start at the arrival point of the Daolasa gondola and return to the gondola’s car park. The Tour delle Meridiane N° 711 connects in Daolasa and passes through the hamlet of Almazzago. If you are planning one of these routes, it helps to distinguish the route itself from its start or end point. Transport and route conditions for Trail La Preda may change, so it is a good idea to check the latest conditions before setting out.

Winter and seasonal activities

The Daolasa ski lifts are connected to Marilleva. They can also be reached directly from the station where the Dolomiti Express – Ski train arrives. There is an important condition for cross-country skiing: the Commezzadura trail is guaranteed to be open only when there is natural snow, and it offers lessons for children. If cross-country skiing is a focus of your trip, be sure to factor this snow condition into your plans.

The season also matters for Family Park Daolasa Estate: it is located at the mountain station of the Daolasa gondola and offers children climbing castles, a slide into a small forest, swings and wooden playhouses in summer. The cycling and walking path in Val di Sole also runs alongside the Noce River and is suitable for families and children. The summer Family Park, the trail that depends on natural snow, and the walk “I Laresi de la Tegia,” which can be planned seasonally, cater to different travel periods and interests.
