Quitzow Church in Rühstädt is a late Gothic brick building dating from the mid-15th century. In the vaulted apse behind the altar is a late Gothic wall painting, extensively restored in 1890. The furnishings also include a late Gothic winged altar, likewise dating from the mid-15th century. It depicts the Coronation of the Virgin, flanked by apostles. The building therefore brings together distinct features: the wall painting is in the apse, while the winged altar can be appreciated through its subject.
