A public playground is located in the southeastern part of BĂĽrgerpark, near the beach volleyball courts. You can reach it on foot or by bicycle from the eastern entrance on Enghofer Weg. The sports and recreation park also has a boules court, where people of all ages can enjoy outdoor exercise. Nature at the Hallbergmoos Gravel Pit
The renaturalized areas of the Hallbergmoos gravel pit border the Isar floodplains directly and are therefore connected to the Southern Isar Floodplains FFH site. The area includes hardwood and softwood floodplain forests, extensive bodies of water, renaturalized gravel areas and large reed beds. Floodplain forest, water, gravel areas and reeds shape the habitats described here.
The gravel pit is a popular destination for nature tours. It can be reached by S-Bahn, bicycle or motorized transport. This means that visits to the natural area are possible using several of the stated travel options, while the sports and recreation park offers other ways to enjoy outdoor activity.

The Hallbergmoos history trail, “Traces of Our Past,” is an easy 20.43-kilometre circular cycling tour with a stated duration of two hours. At 18 stops and information boards, it provides information about historical events in Hallbergmoos and Goldach. The history trail describes the Alte Wirt as the oldest building in Hallbergmoos.
