The indoor pool at Lechtalbad, operated by the District of Landsberg am Lech, has a 25-metre sports pool with varying depths and a teaching pool. Swimming and fitness classes are held there; you can check with the operator for current availability. Compared with the outdoor pool, the indoor pool thus offers different types of pools and classes as additional aspects of the swimming facilities.

Disc Golf in Kauferinger Forstgarten

Beginners can discover, practise and play Disc Golf at three stations in Kauferinger Forstgarten, with a variety of ways to play. The stations provide a clear structure for the activity; the different variations are part of the experience, as is the opportunity to first get familiar with the game. A clearly visible, freely accessible rental station provides Disc Golf discs to borrow. If you would like to rent discs on site, it is best to confirm their current availability in advance.

Around Kauferinger See

From Weir 18 on the loop around Kauferinger See, you can enjoy panoramic views of the reservoir and the Ammergau Alps. There is also a fish ladder along the route. It helps fish overcome the difference in water level between the two reservoirs. The loop thus offers two distinct perspectives on the water: the sweeping view from the weir and the function of the fish ladder. If you are interested in the landscape and waterways, these aspects complement each other without serving the same purpose.

Church and Memorial Culture

The parish church of St. John the Baptist in Alt-Kaufering is one of the most significant church buildings in the district. The wagon, a central part of the memorial, offers a different historical focus.
