When looking for a hotel in Eigeltingen, the experiences you’re hoping to enjoy may help you decide: activities at the Lochmühle, a look behind the scenes at the Bonbon Manufaktur or learning about alpacas each offer a different focus. Hiking trails and nearby destinations can also play a role in your plans. Be sure to check the relevant visitor information, as well as the current closure status of the Krebsbachputzer trail.

Experiences and activities in Eigeltingen

The Lochmühle adventure restaurant in Eigeltingen offers, among other things, a climbing area with a zip line, tractor and motocross races, and bull riding. The Lochmühle also has a petting zoo, mini tractor rides, pony rides and a playground. The activities on offer range from animal and play areas to rides, climbing and horseback riding. If you have a particular activity in mind, check with the operator for current availability.

At the Bonbon Manufaktur’s demonstration workshop, you can watch Bodensee sweets, candy sticks and lollipops being made entirely by hand. Unlike the activities at the Lochmühle, the focus here is on the production process. You can plan your visit around your interest in traditional handcrafts. Check with the manufactory in advance for current visitor arrangements.

At the Adventure Alpakas alpaca farm, visitors can learn more about alpacas. The farm is in the hamlet of Guggenhausen near Rorgenwies. If you plan to visit, check the current visitor arrangements directly with the farm.

The Krebsbachtal landscape conservation area lies north of Eigeltingen. It was designated in 1940. The Roman estate of Eigeltingen is also nearby, where you can see the reconstructed foundations of an ancillary building. These two places appeal to different interests: one is a designated landscape conservation area, while the other has visible reconstructed foundations.
