Boulouris-Sur-Mer is defined by its coastline, historic holiday architecture and trails with different focuses. If you are looking for a hotel here, you could start by considering whether you are particularly interested in the coastal landscape, the area's history or outdoor activities. These themes offer different ways to plan your stay.

Coast and beaches

The rocky coastline of Boulouris includes nine beaches, some of which resemble coves in places. Plage de Boulouris is a cove with small pebbles, surrounded by extensive rocky areas. The number nine refers to the coastline as a whole; pebbles and rocky areas are specific features of this cove. Canoes and kayaks are available to rent at Plage de Boulouris. If you plan this activity, check the operating dates and availability in advance.

Holiday resort history and cultural heritage

Along with the town and Valescure, Boulouris is one of three holiday resorts established from the late 19th century onward. Several notable villas have been preserved in the coastal area of Boulouris. The Circuit de Boulouris invites you to explore the neighbourhood and its notable residences. Another historical landmark is the Nécropole Nationale de Boulouris: it contains the remains of 464 soldiers from General de Lattre de Tassigny's 1st French Army, who were killed in 1944 during the liberation of Provence. The soldiers came from diverse backgrounds and faiths. Thus, the resort's development from the late 19th century onward and remembrance of the liberation of Provence stand side by side as distinct historical themes.

Trails and outdoor activities

Boulouris offers several ways to get active, each with a different focus. The Sentier du Littoral starts at Port Santa Lucia; the hike is 11 kilometres long and takes 4 hours and 30 minutes one way. It runs between the sea and the gardens of residences dating from the late 19th century. In the wooded inland area is the educational Sentier de l’Armitelle. The Circuit de Boulouris focuses on the neighbourhood and its notable residences. For physical training, there is also the 2,200-metre CRAPA fitness trail, with a range of equipment. The options therefore differ in focus: the coastal route and walking time, an educational woodland trail, exploring the neighbourhood or physical training.
