Les Loges offers several distinct options for a trip: a Vélo-Rails ride, a greenway for cycling, rollerblading and walking, the GR21 hiking trail, and the Manoir d’Estoutteville. Étretat Aventure is another activity option: its park is located between Étretat and Fécamp. During your stay, you can choose between a ride along a former railway line, various trails, heritage sites and high-rope courses. If you’re looking for hotels in Les Loges, it helps to first decide which of these activities you’d like to shape your stay.

Vélo-Rails and trails

The Vélo-Rails route from Les Loges to Étretat runs downhill for 5.2 kilometres; the ride takes 20 to 30 minutes. It follows a former railway line through the region’s typical rural landscapes and leads to the Valleuse d’Étretat. The short ride gives you a specific time frame for this activity, while following the former railway line offers a different way of getting around from the greenway or the GR21. Operating dates and booking conditions may vary; check them in advance if the ride is an essential part of your trip.

The greenway follows a different route: it runs from Les Loges via Froberville to Épreville and is intended for cyclists, rollerbladers and pedestrians. Compared with the Vélo-Rails route, the focus here is on choosing how to get around, while the Vélo-Rails ride is defined by its railway track route and specified duration. If you’re planning to use the greenway, check surface and access conditions locally.

The GR21 is a hiking trail along the cliffs near Les Loges. If you’d like to include hiking in your travel plans, you can consider it as a route option in its own right, alongside the Vélo-Rails ride and the greenway. As local trail conditions may change, it’s advisable to check the latest conditions before setting out.

Heritage and high-rope courses

The Manoir d’Estoutteville is a landmark in Les Loges for anyone interested in culture and architectural history. Its main construction phase dates to the 15th century. Since 27 December 1973, its façades and roofs have been partially protected as a Monument historique. The two dates refer to different aspects: the 15th century marks the main construction phase, while the date in 1973 marks the start of partial protection for the specified building elements. The building can therefore be understood both through its construction history and its later heritage protection.

Étretat Aventure adds high-rope courses to the trails and heritage sites. The park covers six hectares, is located between Étretat and Fécamp, and offers five courses. Courses are available for all ages and levels, starting from age three. This sets the activity apart from the routes, which focus on how you get around. Operating arrangements may vary, so check the latest conditions if you’re planning a visit.
