Moskenes in the Wider Area

The wider destination of Moskenes includes Lofotodden National Park, which lies in the municipalities of Moskenes and Flakstad. The park aims to offer the public undisturbed nature experiences through low-impact, simple outdoor activities with little technical infrastructure.

On the island of Moskenes, the mountains plunge straight into the sea; small bridges connect the small islands. The Lofotodden Nature Reserve in Moskenes protects a valuable coastal area, including its natural plant and animal life.
