Soldeu: Golf, Skiing and Sant Bartomeu
Accommodation in Soldeu
Soldeu offers several clearly distinct themes to help you plan your trip: golf, alpine ski racing and the Sant Bartomeu festival. The details about the course, ski run and festival can help you plan your stay around your own interests.
Golf and alpine ski racing in Soldeu
Golf Soldeu golf course is located at Pla d'Espiolets in Soldeu. It has nine holes, a par of 33, a total length of 2,590 metres and covers 16 hectares. It can be reached by gondola from Soldeu. As seasonal operations may vary, check the gondola service before planning your visit.
The Avet ski run in Grandvalira Soldeu is mainly used for slalom and giant slalom, the more technically demanding alpine disciplines. It has also hosted major ski races, including the 2019 and 2023 World Cup Finals. This highlights two distinct aspects: the ski run’s main use and its competition history.
The Sant Bartomeu festival
In 2026, the Sant Bartomeu festival returned to Soldeu with a day celebrating tradition and community. The festival included activities for all age groups. A solemn mass was held at the Church of Sant Bartomeu de Soldeu during the festival. Programme details may vary from year to year.
