Kraj: Church, Archaeology and Railway History
Accommodation in Kraj
Cultural Heritage in Kraj
Kraj brings together two distinct aspects of cultural heritage. In the Kraj area of Dicmo stands the parish church of St. James and Anne; its main altar bears statues of St. James and St. Anne. Near Glavica, a prehistoric hill extends across Kraj, SiÄŤane and Prisoje and is listed as an archaeological monument. Sacred architecture and archaeological heritage spanning several localities thus offer two different perspectives on the history of the area.
Another historical point of reference is the site of the former Ferate/Rera railway station. It is associated with Kraj. The former station building is in poor condition and currently closed to the public. Therefore, do not plan to visit the interior, and check access again before your trip.
In the wider destination of Općina Dicmo, Zeleni Park was established in October 2022 in the centre of the settlement of Kraj, on 1,650 m² of public municipal land.

A Rera route alignment described in 2023 runs through Dicmo parallel to the D1 towards Kukuzovac. As the trail surface may change, check conditions before setting out.
