Archaeological evidence in the municipality includes Thracian settlements and burial mounds, as well as pottery, iron appliqués and jewellery. Eco Trails, Ski Slope and Outdoor Leisure

The ski slope at Koshu Bair is 1 km from Valchi Dol, is 250 metres long and has a ski lift. It is described as the only ski slope in northeastern Bulgaria and as suitable for beginner and advanced skiers. Stocked micro-reservoirs and the General Kiselovo Reservoir are used for recreational fishing. Lodges in Radan Voyvoda and Cherventsi, as well as lodges at the General Kiselovo Reservoir, near Lamburdzha by Iskar, and at Koshu Bair, may be of interest as tourist sites for organised hunting trips or for visitors. The Petko Sirakov Sports Complex includes a municipal outdoor swimming pool and a beach volleyball court in a green, peaceful setting.
