Topola Skies is located between Kavarna and Balchik on the northern Black Sea coast. When choosing a hotel in Topola, different travel preferences may be decisive: Ikantalaka 2 as a specific beach, water activities, or sports and relaxation facilities. The offerings at Topola Skies form a separate theme.

Water Activities and Exercise

The Topola Skies Aquapark features a swimming pool, fast water slides, a bar serving food and drinks, and other water activities. Its facilities also include child-friendly options. The aquapark also has an artificial wave pool for families and five designated water slides. Pools, waves, and slides give a concrete impression of the different types of water activities on offer.

Those interested in climbing and rope elements will find other formats: Topola Skies Action Park has rope facilities with two difficulty levels and two climbing walls, each eight metres high. The beginner course at Topola Skies Adventure Park is 2.5 metres high and has ten obstacles. These details distinguish between courses, walls, and rope elements without assigning them a single combined difficulty rating.

Topola Skies’ sports and leisure activities also include water aerobics, football, volleyball, tennis, fitness, table tennis, billiards, and darts. A sea-facing zipline experience features a 468-metre-long course at a height of 118 metres; speeds of up to 80 km/h are stated. The Relax Zone offers a different focus: it includes a steam bath, Finnish and herbal saunas, a salt room, an ice room, an adventure grotto, and a relaxation area. Since operator offerings may change, check the current facilities and activities before your visit.

Beach and Dining

Ikantalaka 2 is a seaside beach in the land of Topola, with a total area of 6,883 square metres. The concession terms provide for free visitor access; at least half of the active beach area is to remain available for visitors’ own beach equipment. The terms also list water rescue, medical services, and sanitation as requirements. If these points are important to your plans, check how they are currently being implemented before your visit.

Topola Skies Bistro is set on the rocks and has a sea-view terrace. Topola Skies describes its restaurants’ dishes as being prepared according to traditional recipes and with fresh seasonal ingredients. Alongside the beach and leisure activities, dining and the sea view are also distinct aspects to consider when planning a trip.

Kavarna as a Distinct Regional Point of Interest

In Kavarna, the municipal museum presents material about a significant ceramic production centre discovered near Topola. The exhibit places this connection within the history of the early Bulgarian state, as well as that of the Slavs and Bulgarians. Kavarna’s Ethnographic Complex includes a house museum, a restored shoemaker’s workshop, a lace workshop, and a courtyard area. It presents cultural features of the Dobrudzhans, Gagauz, and Kotlenzi people.

Kavarna’s churches also offer specific historical points of reference: the Church of St. George was built in 1836, and the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin in 1860. The 23rd edition of Kavarna’s traditional mussel and fish festival was held in 2026. The programme included public cooking demonstrations and tastings of mussels, Black Sea fish, and other seafood.

Kavarna’s natural attractions include Yaylata and Taukliman. Yaylata is home to an early Byzantine fortress, five ancient necropolises, and a cave settlement with 101 dwellings that were inhabited as early as the 5th millennium BC. More than 178 bird species breed there or migrate towards the African coast for the winter; more than 270 animal species have also been recorded there. The Via Pontica migratory bird route runs along Taukliman. In spring, flocks of thousands of gulls, geese, waders, plovers, and other birds stop there.
