Pilgrimage church and chapel

The pilgrimage church of St. Quirin is a Gothic church dating from the 14th century, situated at an altitude of 1,246 metres. Frescoes and figures are among its features; from the church, the view extends far into the Lower Inn Valley. The access route leads via Meils and Rifflkreuz through quiet forests and scenic sections up to the high-altitude trail. Thus, alongside the church itself, St. Quirin also offers a described route with named landmarks.

The St. Anna Chapel in Rothenbrunn was built in the 17th century. Compared with the Gothic pilgrimage church of St. Quirin, dating from the 14th century, it offers a later historical reference point. The construction dates help place the two cultural destinations in their historical context; St. Quirin adds frescoes, figures, its altitude and views of the Lower Inn Valley to this comparison.
