Palisades Center is a four-level shopping mall. It offers direct access to Route 303, Route 59 and the Palisades Interstate Parkway; these road connections provide a clear reference point for finding your way to the mall. Its offerings include 148 retail stores, 30 dining options and 16 entertainment venues. These numbers may change. The combination of shopping, dining and entertainment makes the mall a distinct recreational hub in West Nyack.

Germonds Park combines swimming and sports facilities. It has two swimming pools, a diving pool, a bathhouse and a 151-foot water slide. The swimming area is complemented by lighted playing fields, basketball courts, picnic areas and a playground. This makes it easy to consider the park in terms of both its water attractions and its sports and picnic facilities. If you are weighing swimming options against other recreational activities, the difference between the water facility and the park’s other areas is a useful point of comparison. Seasonal operating details may change; check them before your visit.

West Nyack Hamlet Green and Firefighter Memorial Park covers four acres. When it opened in 2023, the site included a playground and an adult fitness area. At the time, its landscaping features included newly created wetlands, around which a 1,150-foot walking path and boardwalk ran. The four-acre figure describes the size of the site, while 1,150 feet is the length of the walking path. The two park profiles differ in this way: the Hamlet Green focuses on wetlands and a walking path, while Germonds features swimming and sports facilities.
