Hiking, sports and leisure

Erlenmoos Leisure Park covers more than 30,000 square metres. It includes a skate park, a bike park, a nature-oriented playground and an all-weather sports field. There is also a small bathing area at Strandweg, with around 150 metres of lake frontage. It offers a different focus from the sports and play areas in Erlenmoos.

Historic buildings and culture

St. Verena’s Parish Church is a Baroque village church built between 1781 and 1785. It is considered an early work by master builder Nikolaus Purtscher; the paintings were created by the renowned Messmer family of artists. The church is regarded as having exceptionally high cultural, historical, architectural-historical and art-historical value.

Gmuret Hus is a two-storey stone building with distinctive stepped gables. Its core dates back to the 16th century. The house is also regarded as having considerable cultural, historical and art-historical value; it is also considered a defining feature of the local townscape. The two buildings represent different periods: the parish church was built in the late 18th century, while the history of Gmuret Hus reaches back to its 16th-century core.

Museum, events and ice hockey

The Wollerau Fire Brigade Museum displays historical tools and documents from the early days of the Wollerau fire brigade. The Wollerau Fire Brigade Museum houses an old hand-operated fire pump from 1876 that is still functional; its condition may change. Arrange an appointment before your visit.

The Wollerau-Becki-Erlenmoos circular trail can be reached by train or bus to Wollerau railway station. Services may change; check the timetable before travelling. Bicycle parking is also available at Wollerau railway station.
