Sianozety – Beach, pier and coastal paths
Accommodation in Sianozety
When looking for a hotel in Sianozety, you can choose where to stay based on the activities you want to shape your visit: the beach, walks, or longer routes on foot and by bike. The wide sandy beach, the pier and the range of routes offer concrete points of reference. When planning, it is worth distinguishing between the different beach measurements and the respective route layouts.
Beach and bathing area
The sandy beach in Sianożęty is wide and about 1,400 m long. In summer, there is a guarded bathing area. Three renovated, safe and signposted access points lead to the beach from Ku Morzu, Lotnicza and Sztormowa streets. The street names provide clear directions if you want to head for one of these access points for your beach visit.
The summer bathing area covers 1,400 m of coastline, excluding two water lanes used by the local so-called shore fishing harbour facility. The roughly 1,400 m length of the sandy beach and the 1,400 m of coastline covered by the summer bathing area refer to different measurements. During the summer season, a designated section of beach for dogs is located west of beach access point No. 1, in part of plot 324/7. Check the current seasonal rules before your visit.
Walks and scenery
The pier in Sianożęty is a tourist attraction and is used for walks. It is another specific point of interest for a stay not focused solely on the guarded bathing area. Sianożęty lies within the Koszaliński Pas Nadmorski Landscape Protection Area. When choosing where to stay, this protected-area designation adds a scenic aspect to the specific information about the beach and pier.
Hiking the E-9
The red-marked international long-distance hiking trail E-9 runs in two directions from Sianożęty. Towards Gąski, the route passes through Ustronie Morskie and Wieniotowo to the Gąski lighthouse; this option is about 9 km long. The second option, towards Kołobrzeg, passes through Bagicz and is about 10 km long. The two options differ mainly in their direction and intermediate places; their stated distances, around 9 and 10 km, are close. Check the route before setting off.
Cycle paths and route planning
The international R10 coastal cycle route passes through Sianożęty. Within the area of the responsible forestry district, it is about 48 km long and runs along asphalt, unpaved roads and cobblestones. When planning a ride on the R10, the approximate length is not the only factor to consider: the different surfaces are also a practical point of reference. Sianożęty has a cycle path that invites you to ride to Kołobrzeg. For walking, the E-9 offers two destination options; for cycling, the direction towards Kołobrzeg and, on the R10, the route length and surfaces provide guidance for planning.
