Korzonek combines moorland, a nature trail and activities at Park Korzonek. If you are looking for hotels in Korzonek, you can plan your trip around what matters most to you: Bagno w Korzonku, with its protected moorland plants; the nature trail for walkers and cyclists; or courses among the natural tree cover. These themes offer different ways to experience the area and give you specific starting points for planning your trip.

Moor, Watercourses and Protected Landscape

Bagno w Korzonku is a peat bog covering more than 12 hectares. It lies west of the village buildings, between the Konopka and Olszynka streams. Protected moorland plants include round-leaved sundew, marsh rosemary, cranberry and bog bilberry. For nature enthusiasts, the area thus combines a clearly defined landscape with specific plant species.

The bog is also included in the Natura 2000 programme. The Konopka Valley in the Korzonek area lies within a municipal zone designated to preserve and protect areas of high natural and landscape value. Park Korzonek is part of the “Lasy nad Górną Liswartą” Landscape Park. These designations cover different areas: Natura 2000 applies to the bog, the municipal zone to the valley, and the landscape park to Park Korzonek. This makes it possible to distinguish the area's nature-related designations according to their respective landscapes.

Nature Trail for Walkers and Cyclists

The “Bagna i torfowiska - Korzonek–Leśniaki” nature trail was established by the Municipality of Konopiska for walkers and cyclists. It is approximately 8.5 kilometres long and marked with white-and-green squares. When planning a trip, the intended ways of getting around, approximate length and trail markings offer three specific points of reference. The name “Bagna i torfowiska” (Swamps and Peat Bogs) highlights the connection to moorland right in the title. The trail thus combines an active route with a clearly identifiable nature theme.

Rope Park and Other Activities

At Korzonek's rope park, courses run among natural tree cover and have varying levels of difficulty. One route reaches a maximum height of 3.5 metres and is approximately 90 metres long. These measurements add a specific height and length to the general description of the courses. A 2025 municipal description also lists nature walks and interactive educational games as attractions at Park Korzonek. Alongside the rope park, it therefore presents nature walks and learning through play as park activities.

The route lengths show two different formats: the nature trail is approximately 8.5 kilometres long, while the stated rope park route is approximately 90 metres. The longer figure describes the full trail for walkers and cyclists; the shorter one refers to a rope park route, for which the maximum height is also specified. When making your choice, this is a comparison between a nature trail and a ropes course, not between two equivalent routes. This can help you decide before your trip whether you would rather plan a route through nature or try the courses.
