Accommodation in Stróza
Stróza combines marked trails, distinctive rock formations and tangible evidence of architectural history. If you are looking for a hotel in Stróza, these varied attractions can help you decide what to focus on during your trip: Wielki Kamień and Diabelski Kamień offer natural attractions, while Willa Klebertówka, the “Firkówka” farmstead and the Church of NMP Królowej Polski represent historic architecture. This makes it possible to tailor your plans to specific interests: routes, bouldering, scenic rock formations or architecture each offer a different focus.
Rock formations and marked trails
Wielki Kamień is a rock formation in Stróża. A short, black-marked trail leads to the rock. It branches off from the yellow-marked trail that runs over the summit and along the ridge of Krzywicka Góra.
Bouldering is also available at Wielki Kamień, with five boulder problems graded 6b to 6c on the French scale. The number of problems and the grade range give climbers concrete points of reference for assessing the site. These activity details may change; check the information before your visit.
Another rock formation in Stróża is Diabelski Kamień. It is 6.5 metres high and lies on the slopes of Kotoń; a marked spur leads to it. The two natural attractions offer different highlights: Wielki Kamień is notable for bouldering and its spur off the yellow-marked trail, while Diabelski Kamień stands out for its height and hillside location.
Architectural heritage with specific dates
Willa Klebertówka is a villa built in 1923 in Stróża, near the hamlet of Miłogoszcz. The “Firkówka” farmstead dates from 1924. The dates are only a year apart, but refer to two different types of building: a villa and a farmstead. They provide a chronological reference for both buildings within the 1920s.
The Church of NMP Królowej Polski was built in the Neo-Gothic style between 1904 and 1909. It has a freestanding bell tower dating from 1908, within the church’s construction period. The interior contains Neo-Baroque altars; the stained-glass windows were made in 1966 to a design by Adam Bunsch. The church and tower therefore date from the first decade of the 20th century, while the stained-glass windows belong to a significantly later period. At the same time, the Neo-Gothic building and Neo-Baroque altars represent different stylistic influences within the same church.
Sports and recreation
The Strefa Aktywności Sportowo-Rekreacyjnej in Stróża also offers a sporting focus. A report dated 14 April 2026 describes the recreation zone as completed. It includes a pump track for cycling and skateboarding, a playground, a covered seating area and benches. The facility is intended for children and young people from Stróża and all surrounding localities. Check the current terms of use before visiting.
