Plewnia: Wayside Shrine and Historic Houses
Accommodation in Nowa Plewnia
A 19th-century wayside shrine and older houses give Plewnia historical points of interest. The village is also among the places in the municipality with the largest forest complexes.
Wayside Shrine and Architectural History
The wayside shrine is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of Mary and dates from the 19th century. The houses date back to the early 20th century: House No. 8 is from this period, while House No. 12 was built around 1926. Houses Nos. 13, 20 and 21 date from the 1920s.
The wooden House No. 39 is also part of the village’s older building stock. It dates from the 19th century. Please respect residents’ privacy around residential buildings and arrange any visit in advance.
