Kamperland offers several specific points of interest when planning a trip: water sports, proximity to the beach, and nature in the surrounding area. Het Ezelhuis in Kamperland organizes group hikes, individual hikes, and picnic hikes with donkeys. The formats differ in how the hike is organized: you can choose a group option, an individual hike, or one that includes a picnic. The Parelroute “Kostbaar” offers a different way to explore a route: answer questions and collect letters until they form a word at the end. The route is currently presented in an adapted online format. Its interactive format is a separate activity alongside the hikes mentioned above.

Kamperland is near a beach. The De Schotsman nature area on Lake Veere is also nearby. It includes sparse grassland, muddy banks, dunes, and mixed woodland. The landscape therefore combines open spaces, waterside areas, and wooded sections.

The nearby Oosterschelde National Park offers a different aspect of nature: its landscape is constantly shaped by the tides and supports abundant underwater life. Compare mountain bike routes by length and trail markings

The lengths and trail markings of two mountain bike routes are specified. The Noord-Beveland Midden mountain bike route is 37 kilometers long and marked with signs bearing green arrows. The Noord-Beveland West mountain bike route is 27 kilometers long and marked with wooden posts bearing blue arrows. The routes therefore differ in both their stated length and the way they are marked. Markings may change, and the starting options for the Noord-Beveland Midden route may also change. Historical traces at the Veerdam

The Anlagelegsteiger Veerdam is an L-shaped pier that was part of the former pedestrian ferry service to Veere. The ferry operated until 1961. The Veerdam is a reminder of an earlier connection across the water and adds a historical perspective to today’s water sports activities.
