Local History and Architecture
The earliest documents mentioning Corbiolo date from the beginning of the 13th century. A document from 1219 records residents in the area before the immigration of Bavarian-Tyrolean settlers, who are commonly known as Cimbri.
Corbiolo’s church was built during the Second World War: construction took place between 1941 and 1943 and lasted two years. A central mosaic depicting the church in a boat was installed in the parish church in 1999. In Contrada Costa, a typical frescoed niche is dedicated to Saint Anthony the Great; it is considered a symbol of local folk art.
A rectangular building dating from 1889 has a double-pitched stone roof and an interior layout typical of the baiti in the Lessini contrade. Its two rooms are called “logo del late” and “logo del fogo.” The building was restored by the Pro Loco, is open to visitors, and houses old tools used for traditional milk processing. Its architectural form, room layout, and tools offer different ways to explore the rural heritage of the Lessini. It is advisable to check opening hours before visiting.

Ristorante Veneranda in Villaggio Termine serves typical local dishes. These include dishes featuring black truffles from the Lessini, Gnocchi di malga, and main courses made with Scottona beef raised in the Lessini. The menu may change.
The Feast of Maria Ausiliatrice is traditionally celebrated with a sagra on a Sunday. The statue of Mary Help of Christians is carried in a procession from the parish church through the village streets; the exact date and program may vary.
