Inveruno offers several different reasons to stay: historic buildings from various centuries, religious architecture, regionally focused fairs, and a cinema showing films and theatre productions. Depending on whether you are interested in industrial history, church architecture or an event, you will see the town from a different perspective.

Industrial history and church architecture

The Torchio di Villa Mira Tanzi is an industrial press dating from the mid-18th century. The Fornace dell'acqua in Inveruno is an industrial kiln dating from the 19th century. Both buildings represent different technical functions and different periods in the town’s history. This makes it possible to explore the history of construction not only by century, but also by the buildings’ respective industrial purposes.

At the Lazzaretto, by contrast, the construction period takes centre stage: the building dates from the first half of the 18th century and is currently used for religious purposes. Its function distinguishes it from the two industrial sites; at the same time, it dates from a different period than the Fornace dell'acqua. For travellers interested in architecture and local history, the construction period, building type and present-day use offer different points of interest.

At the Chiesa di San Martino, history and spatial layout come together. The origins of the parish church date back to around the year 1000. Five columns clad in marmorite, with granite bases, divide the church into three naves. This means that visitors can explore not only the approximate date of its origins, but also specific architectural features. The new Chiesa di San Martino was consecrated on 23 November 1901 by Cardinal Andrea Carlo Ferrari. The year 1901 refers to this consecration; the date around 1000, by contrast, concerns the origins of the parish church.

Fairs and cultural events

In 2025, the Fiera di San Martino featured a market and exhibition showcasing organic products, goods from short supply chains and local culinary specialities. The fair thus combined a selection of goods with regional cuisine, with a clear focus on the market. If this is the main reason for your stay, check the dates for your travel year before planning your trip around it.

The Antica Fiera dell'Angelo is a spring fair organised by the Municipality of Inveruno and takes place every year in the streets of the town centre and in Parco Comunale. For 21 April 2025, it was announced there with Floribunda and other programme items. If you would like to plan your trip around the fair, check the date and programme for the year you intend to visit.

The cultural offering also includes the cinema at Via Brera 10. It hosts film clubs, cinema screenings and theatre performances; the auditorium can also be hired for other events. If you are planning a cinema visit, it is worth checking the current programme.
