Beach, Promenade and Pier

Scharbeutz offers around six kilometres of beach and a coastal promenade with a cycle path that can also be used for inline skating. Scharbeutz Pier is more than 300 metres long and serves as a maritime promenade with panoramic views over the Baltic Sea. The pier is directly accessible from the seafront promenade. This lets you combine time on the beach and exercise along the promenade with a visit to this striking structure—and plan your stay around the activities that interest you most.

Water Sports and Swimming Facilities

There are two SUP stations on Scharbeutz beach. Providers rent out boards and paddles, offer beginner lessons and run SUP courses. Stations and rental facilities may change seasonally; providers and course offerings may also change. Check current availability in advance. Ostsee Therme Scharbeutz offers water activities, slides, wellness facilities and family entertainment. Individual attractions may change.

At Lake Großer Pönitzer See in Klingberg, the bathing area includes a restaurant, a sunbathing lawn and a bathing jetty. Before your visit, check the condition of the facilities and local access rules.

At DĂĽnenmeile, you will find small shops and boutiques with sea views; the range of shops may change. A nudist beach is designated at beach access point 2 near Ostsee Therme.
