The Dubeň Lookout Tower

The almost 28-meter-high lookout tower stands on the summit of Dubeň, above the village of Teplička nad Váhom. The Dubeň Lookout Tower is 27.4 meters high and has ten levels. It consists of a steel structure clad in wood. The height and number of levels provide a concrete sense of the structure's scale; steel and wood describe two of its construction features.

The shortest route from Žilina-Zádubnie to the lookout tower is about 1.4 kilometers long. The access trail crosses a meadow and passes through the forest. Cyclists also have a dedicated route to consider: on the return leg, the Žilina–Straník–Radoľa cycling loop runs from Zástranie through Zádubnie to Žilina. Getting there by bus

DPMŽ bus line 27 is relevant for travel by bus. It runs between Hájik, Hurbanova, Budatín, Zádubnie, and Zástranie, as well as in the opposite direction. The places listed situate Zadubnie on a specific connection. Check the current timetable before traveling, as routes may change.

A religious point of interest

The House of Divine Mercy, called Dom Božieho milosrdenstva in Slovak, is located in the lower part of the Zádubnie cemetery. The building was blessed on October 9, 2005. Its location and the date give the house a specific connection to the village and its history.
