Andrijevica at the confluence of the Zlorečica and Lim
Accommodation in Andrijevica
Andrijevica lies at the confluence of the Zlorečica and the Lim. The municipality is surrounded by the Komovi, Bjelasica and Prokletije mountain ranges; the river landscape and the mountainous terrain give the region two distinct geographical reference points.
Komovi: protected area and peaks
Part of the Komovi massif within the municipality of Andrijevica is designated as a protected natural asset of local importance and assigned to Category II of protected areas. The highest peaks of the Komovi are Vasojevićki Kom at 2,461 m, Kučki Kom at 2,487 m and Ljevorečki Kom at 2,463 m. At 2,487 m, Kučki Kom is the highest of the three peaks listed; the other two, at 2,461 and 2,463 m, are close in height. Check the current management rules for the protected area before setting out.
Hiking trails and cycling routes

Cycling is also represented by an extensive network: Andrijevica offers more than 190 km of cycling routes, marked with a high-quality wayfinding system. For hiking, the marked trails and the route of the CT-1 are relevant; for cycling, the route length and signage are also important. Check the current route for a specific hike, as the stated length of the hiking trail network may change through maintenance or expansion.
Rivers and fly fishing
Most of the Lim and its tributaries within the municipality of Andrijevica are reserved exclusively for fly fishing on a catch-and-release basis. The fly-fishing zone includes the entire course of the Kuckaja and the Zlorečica, as well as 5 km of the Lim downstream from their confluence. So, when planning a fishing trip, both the specific stretch of river and the required method matter. Check the local fishing regulations again before your visit.
Bus connections
Andrijevica is connected by bus routes to all towns in the surrounding region; check current connections before travelling, as they may change.
Memorial sites, church and archaeology
Knjaževac Memorial Park commemorates the fallen fighters of the regional Upper Vasojevići Brigade from the Balkan Wars and the First World War. The park contains monuments to fighters and victims of the Balkan Wars, the First and Second World Wars, and the conflicts of the 1990s.
Construction of the Church of the Holy Archangel Michael began in 1887, after Prince Nikola laid the foundation stone and donated money for its construction. Its building history is therefore linked to a specific year and two actions by the prince.
In Namastir, there are remains believed to belong to the oldest church in the Polimlje region. Archaeological excavations in Namastir uncovered pottery finds from the Bronze Age and Late Antiquity. Thus, a church site tentatively identified as the oldest and finds from two different periods are found side by side there.
Vasojević cuisine
