Prostějovičky: Village and Chapel
Accommodation in Prostějovičky
Prostějovičky is located above the valley of the Drahanský stream in the Czech region of Olomouc. A chapel, an events venue and sports facilities give the village its own character. The old hotel page made a general promise of suites available to everyone; the verified local facts do not establish that any specific hotel exists, but they do identify places that can help guide an accommodation decision.
The Chapel and Local History
The Chapel of St. Anne was built in 1854 and expanded in 1870 with a sacristy and choir loft. At the time, its construction, together with permission to hold five masses a year, was a significant event in the community. This is historical context, not a current schedule of services. The memorial to fallen heroes was restored in 2007. Visitors to these places should respect access arrangements, religious use and the quiet purpose of a memorial site. An early mention of the village is dated to 1347, but this is only partially substantiated in the verified facts and should not be presented as an undisputed founding date.
Zahrádky and the Surroundings
The open-air Zahrádky venue is used throughout the year for events such as dance evenings and children’s afternoons. A multipurpose facility is used for small-sided football, nohejbal, basketball, tennis and pétanque. This describes the facilities available, not whether a space or time slot is free on the day of your trip. Check local availability and current events. The location above the stream valley can make a walk interesting, but this landscape setting does not imply a marked circular route of any particular length.
Choose Your Hotel Location Carefully
When considering a hotel offer, the actual address matters: is it in Prostějovičky, in the larger Prostějov District, or somewhere else? Compare the route to the chapel or Zahrádky, and check the room, price and availability in the individual offer. The local facts support a short stay in the village, not the claim that it has an extensive hotel inventory.
District: Prostějov District.
