Přišimasy can be explored through its natural surroundings, settlement layout and architectural history. The protected Klepec, the village’s historic character and the architecture of the church offer different starting points for planning your trip. Consider whether you are especially interested in geology, village history or a specific event.

Klepec and the local trails

Klepec, a protected rock formation and small rocky landscape, lies within the cadastral area of Přišimasy. It was formed from unusual remnants of weathered Říčany granite from the Central Bohemian Pluton. Klepec was designated a protected natural monument in 1977. The annual Earth Day celebrations are also held at the natural monument.

The Klepec Nature Trail begins in Přišimasy-Skřivany. It is about one kilometre long and has two stops with information boards.

The yellow-marked Klepec Nature Trail can be used with a stroller and by wheelchair users with assistance.

Another landmark is Čápova skála. It lies at the place known as “Na bačovně,” to the right of the red-marked Hradešín–Úvaly hiking trail. Check the route on site before setting out.

Village layout and architectural history

The settlement pattern of Přišimasy dates back to three originally independent settlements. The village was laid out as a regular circular village, with a large round village green and a pond. This means you can explore the area not only through individual buildings, but also through its traditional layout.

The Church of Saints Peter and Paul has a Romanesque core dating from the mid-13th century. It is a single-nave church, and its tower is as wide as the west façade. The presbytery, or chancel, has a three-sided end. These features help you identify the building’s basic form in more detail: from its single nave and west front to the end of the presbytery.

The local architectural history also includes a rectangular Baroque mortuary chapel from the 19th century. Together with the church and the circular village, it offers different scales through which to view the architectural heritage: the shape of the village as a whole, the form of a religious building and another historic structure.

Events connected with nature and local life

Staročeské máje is a traditional festival in Přišimasy. The 2026 edition was planned to include folk customs, a procession of young men and women in costume, music and evening entertainment. If you want to plan your trip around an event, check the dates for your intended visit.

The family run “O pohár Klepce” also combines a local event with physical activity. This recurring race takes place in Přišimasy at the Slouha erratic boulder. The 12th edition was scheduled for Saturday, 20 June 2026. The programme included competitions for children and adults, as well as a family relay. Since this date has already passed, look for a new event date if you plan to visit later.

The Earth Day celebrations, the family run and Staročeské máje each have a different focus: a natural monument, a sporting competition and a traditional festival. Along with Klepec, the nature trail and the village’s history, they give you concrete themes to help plan your choices and the timing of your stay.
