The boulder Bleghald is located in Knudsker Plantage, near Knudsker. Large parts of the stone are covered in green moss, a natural growth that may change over time. The boulder thus offers a specific opportunity to observe nature in the woodland landscape around Knudsker.

By car, the closest you can get to Bleghald is via Blemmelyngvejen. There is space for exactly one car opposite the Blemmelyng property. From there, a 700-metre footpath leads north along forest trails. For your planning, both the limited parking space and the length of the subsequent footpath are relevant; no walking time or specific trail conditions are implied.

A separate access rule applies on nearby Plantagevej: signs at both ends prohibit entry by motor vehicles, heavy mopeds, tractors, and work machinery. Cycling and walking are permitted. Check the signs on site before using the road.

The final sections of the “Klippeøen rundt” gravel cycling route also pass through Knudsker Plantage and Onsbæk Plantage, as well as the area around Arnager and the airport. The route offers a different perspective on the surroundings than the short footpath to Bleghald. As route conditions may change, it is advisable to check for the latest information before setting out.

Hasle Smokehouse is the last smokehouse on Bornholm where fish is smoked in the traditional way, using open chimneys and alder wood. Gudhjem represents the historical beginning, while Hasle is associated with a particular smoking method.

Those interested in nature and exhibitions will find more to explore on Bornholm: the NaturBornholm experience centre features dinosaurs, live crocodiles, an aquarium, and a bison exhibition. Exhibits may change, so check the current offerings before visiting. Bornholms Middelaldercenter is a 15-hectare open-air museum that brings 14th-century Bornholm to life in an engaging and interactive way. Its focus therefore differs from the nature-related exhibits at NaturBornholm.

Another historic attraction is Østerlars Round Church. When no service is taking place, visitors can enter for a fee and climb up to the roof beams. As this information does not confirm current visiting hours, check in advance whether entry is possible at your chosen time.
