In Porat, the current layout of the outdoor area of the Franciscan Third Order monastery, with its cloister and central well, dates from the 17th century. The late antique religious complex of Cickini was built in the 5th or 6th century. The permanent Cickini archaeological collection in Sv. The House of Dubašnica Heritage, in turn, is an old rural home built for two families around the middle of the 19th century.
The DUBoak maritime heritage centre is located on the Malinska waterfront, at a historic site from which ships loaded with timber set sail for Venice and nearby Rijeka. Dubašnica’s culture also includes Sensa, a long-standing tradition featuring a shepherds’ cheese race, popularly known as “Teć za sir”. The House of Dubašnica Heritage runs workshops on traditional gastronomy, forgotten skills, traditional music and the Glagolitic alphabet. Check the current workshop programme before travelling.
