The easy cycling route “Od lokve do lokve” runs through the wider region: it is numbered 615 and measures 26 kilometres. The easy rating applies specifically to Route 615.
Route B1 is described by its course: it runs from Mrgani via Červari to Barat and Kršin, and on to the bottom of Draga near the “Lokvica” puddle. Check the current status of this route locally before setting off.
The Limes Bike & Family Tour 2026 also passed through Červari. It was intended for recreational cyclists with mountain bikes; the route could also be ridden on trekking bikes and e-bikes. The programme included a meal and drinks at a rest stop.
Chapel of Gospe Snježne
The Chapel of Gospe Snježne offers a tangible connection to Červari’s history. It was consecrated on 8 August. The Kanfanar sculptor Marčelo Starčić created it based on a design by Josip Červar. Its construction was initiated by the residents of Červari; a donation from Kamen–Pazin and the residents’ voluntary labour contributed to the building work.
In the broader context of roadside chapels, the chapel is considered an expression of faith and an invitation to venerate Mary. Alongside its history, its religious significance is therefore also an important part of the local cultural heritage.
