Fortica preserves the remains of a small square fortress from the 13th or 14th century, with a defensive tower. The Church of St. Charles Borromeo was built in 1710 on the foundations of the Church of St. John. After being severely damaged in 1943, its remains were dismantled in 1958; part of the wall and the complete bell tower have survived. The Capuchin monastery and the Church of St. Joseph have a rainwater cistern with a diameter of 6 m and a capacity of about 180,000 liters. The complex also includes a theological library with literature from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, as well as an 18th-century wooden choir lectern for the psalter, called a “legil.”
